Request for Proposal – Outsourced Services

Volunteer leaders can use this form to request outsourced association management services that are of a non-full-service nature, meaning there is no expectation of a headquarters or the provision of headquarters staff. Outsourced services may include either one-off projects or projects of a recurring nature – examples include, but are not limited to: meeting/conference management, accounting/bookkeeping services, marketing services, strategic planning advisory services, etc. Please use the following instructions to guide you through the RFP process.

  1. Fill out the online RFP form (available on the next page).

  2. Upload supplementary documents at the bottom of the RFP form. Provide as much information about your organization as possible. We highly recommend that you include information on the project/program budget, as well as any other relevant materials. Any additional documents are suggested. Up to 8 files may be attached.

    • Note: Supporting Document is required. Please follow our guidelines for your Service Requirement Document. Following those guidelines will help ensure you receive quality proposals that are responsive to your needs. The complete RFP form and Suuporting Document are distributed to the membership. Incomplete materials will cause a delay in your request.

  3. Submit your RFP. You will immediately receive a confirmation message on your screen. Please allow 2-3 business days for your RFP to be reviewed by an AMC Institute staff member. This is a review to simply ensure all required materials are present; it is not a review of the content itself. Someone will contact you if there are any questions. Once your RFP has been posted you will receive a confirmation email.

  4. Respond to and Evaluate Proposals. AMC Members interested in your RFP will respond directly to you. We have developed suggested steps and template emails to help you through the process of selecting an AMC. Click here to view the recommendations. (Takes you to new page – see below)
