Successful year-end 2005 at MCI: Further organic growth and increased market share.

In the business year 2005, MCI returned a gross margin of CHF 41,56 m (EUR 26.81 m, +18.7%), with a volume of business (turnover) of CHF 138.7 m (EUR 89,38 m, +10.7%). MCI is the leading Association, Communications and Events Management Group in Europe. For 2005, our corporate and association clients represented 54% and 46% respectively of our revenues.

MCI's gross margin of CHF 41'560'905 (EUR 26'813'487) represents an 18.7% increase compared to 2004. Corporate and Association clients contributed 54% and 46% respectively to our revenues. Our volume of business increased from CHF 129'737'007 (EUR 83'701'295) in 2004 to 138'536'350 (EUR 89'378'290) in 2005. Our business development was generated from organic growth as no acquisitions were executed in 2005.

On the one hand, our association and government sector reached a gross margin of CHF 19'099'413 (EUR 12'322'201), +11.3% in comparison with 2004. On the other hand, the corporate sector reached a gross margin of CHF 22'461'492 (EUR 14'491'285), +25.7% in comparison with 2004.

The MCI offices' contributions to the group were as follows: 49% from the Geneva office, 23% from Brussels, 11% from Paris and Lyon, 10% from Petersfield/London, 5% from Zurich and Stuttgart, 2% Barcelona and Madrid.

New investment in the development of our consulting services and capabilities, and our IT systems impacted the forecasted net profits margin. MCI was profitable for its 18th consecutive business year, with a net contribution of CHF 1.33 m (EUR 0.86 m) (-18% from 2004). At end of 2005, MCI's counted 313 talents (+15.93% from 2004).

In November 2005, MCI was listed No. 138 amongst the fastest growing European companies included in the "2005 Europe's 500; the annual ranking of high growth, job creating companies published by Europe's 500 Entrepreneurs for Growth and supported by Microsoft and KPMG".
