Association Headquarters Executive Earns CMP Designation

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, MAY 18, 2006 – Association Headquarters (AH), a leading association management company, is proud to announce that Anthony Celenza, Senior Meeting Manager for AH's client partners, achieved the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. A member of the AH team for nearly two years, Celenza serves as Senior Meeting Manager for the National Automotive Radiator Service Association, the OsteoArthritis Research Society International, and the Society For Biomaterials.

Established in 1985, the CMP designation is a program of the Convention Industry Council (CIC) designed to increase the professionalism of meeting managers in the industry. In order to achieve CMP designation, the applicant must first qualify to sit for the exam by exhibiting knowledge, education, and experience in meeting management. A three month study is required before passing the challenging CMP exam.

A graduate of Temple University, Celenza's diverse for-profit and non-profit work experience includes the hospitality, credit collection, advertising, sponsorship, association, meeting and exposition industries. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys his full time hobby as the long time President of the Joseph A. Ferko String Band in Philadelphia. He resides in Haddonfield NJ with his wife Elaine and three children, Erica, Anthony III and Nicholas.
